David Sheahan,
he is listed as shopkeeper (his father's business),
living Buttevant, NC Co.Cork, at mar,
mar 1870 to Agnes Cashel [bapt 21 Sept 1838],
apparently he was involved in running of Limerick Mental Hospital,
they went to England,
children grew up England,
their children stayed very much in contact with their 1st cousin
Agnes O'Mara and her family,

the unmarried Sheahan daughters as ending up rather dependent on their
Cashel / O'Mara relations,

Dun Laoghaire, at time of death,
died unmarried,
6th [mass card] or 7th [grave] Mar 1960, age 84 yrs,
bur with her cousin Agnes in Glasnevin.

she came back to Ireland when retired,
also lived with the O'Mara's at
Killiney,
died unmarried, 8th May 1964 [mass card], bur Glasnevin.
There is poss. some Sheahan connection with the
von Trapp family,
poss. one of them went over as a governess.
