Getting a WordPress site up on wordpress.com is easy.

"Write" at top to add new posts. Edit icon on existing posts.

Edit at bottom to edit pages.

Editing

- Exercise - Add page. Add some links. Add YouTube video embed - find iframe and add it.
- In fact, Wordpress editor is designed to co-operate with YouTube.
Visual editor - just paste YouTube URL.

- Can edit raw HTML:

- Exit code editor
- iframe and some other tags
are not allowed on wordpress.com.
- You can allow them if you do a local install of Wordpress on your own server.
